I spoke with psychotherapist Rob Smith about the role of trauma in the development of disordered eating and compulsive exercise in exercisers, athletes and the general population. Rob also teaches us about some of the neuroscience behind these behaviours, explaining the physiological response to traumatic events.

We also explore real world applications of the theories after I open up about my own personal experiences.
