Please remember that no episode of the MyoMinds podcast can be used as a replacement for medical advice and/or care.

Disclaimer - In this episode we talk about Katie's experiences with an eating disorder and with OCD, these may be potentially triggering so please take care.

In this episode, I talk to Katie Avis, one half of the e.k.nutriton team. I heard Katie's story whilst listening to my friend's podcast "The Full of Beans Podcast" and had to get her on the show!

Katie and I share a lot of things in common, both going through spinal surgery, both going to Durham University, and both experiencing eating disorders.

We delve into Katie's story, talking about her experiences of OCD and anorexia and how these manifested during her university life. Katie also shares her experience and advice surrounding CBT (Cognitive behavioral therapy) as a so-called expert after going through it twice, once for OCD and once for Anorexia.

To find Katie you can follow her nutrition business on Instagram: @e.k.nutrition
